Core drilling rig is a kind of core drilling equipment, which is mainly used for the general survey and exploration of metallic and non-metallic solid minerals. In addition, it can also be used for engineering geological exploration, hydrogeological survey, general survey and exploration of oil and gas fields, and well drilling. Since core drilling rigs are required to take out relatively complete, mixed and non-flexible formation rock samples, core drilling rigs are rotary drilling rigs. According to the structure of the rotary device of the drill, the core drill can be divided into three types: vertical shaft type, rotary table type and mobile rotary device type.
The core drill is composed of rotary mechanism, feed mechanism, lifting mechanism, transmission mechanism, control device and base. Due to different types of drilling rigs, some core drilling rigs may also be equipped with control measuring instruments or other auxiliary devices. The rotary mechanism of the drill is called the rotary device, which is used to drive the drill tool to rotate and realize the continuous rock breaking of the drill bit. There are three types of rotators of core drilling rigs: vertical shaft type, rotary table type and mobile type, from which the classification of core drilling rigs is derived. The lifting mechanism is used to lift the drilling tool, casing or other things. Most drilling rigs are specially equipped with lifting mechanism, which is generally called "elevator", while some drilling rigs are not equipped with lifting mechanism. For example, in mobile rotary drilling rigs, the power head and feed mechanism are used to cooperate to realize the function of the elevator. The feed mechanism is used to adjust and maintain the axial load on the drill bit at the bottom of the hole, and feed the drilling tool according to the drilling speed of the drill bit to maintain the continuous drilling of the drill bit. The transmission mechanism is used to drive the power transmission from the power machine of the drilling rig to each working mechanism of the drilling rig. The driving mode of drilling rig power is organic transmission, including semi-hydraulic transmission and full-hydraulic transmission. The control device is used to distribute power, adjust the movement speed of each working mechanism of the drilling rig, and change the movement direction and form of the working mechanism. The control mechanism of the mechanical drive drilling rig is generally set with the relevant components, while the control mechanism of the hydraulic drive drilling rig is mostly set together as an independent component, called the control console.
